TNINS Polymatech to establish Semiconductor Plant in Chhattisgarh Polymatech to provide World-Class Skill Training in Chennai and Abroad to Selected Candidates from Chhattisgarh Raipur : The establishment of the semiconductor industry in Chhattisgarh is adding a new dimension to the states development. Youth from the state are now securing their place in some of the worlds most advanced technologies. With the ongoing semiconductor revolution, Chhattisgarh is emerging prominently on Indias high-technology map. The decision by Polymatech Electronics to establish a semiconductor plant in the state reflects Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modis vision and the Union Governments forward-looking technology policies. Polymatech Electronics Private Limited, Indias first semiconductor chip manufacturing company, is establishing a state-of-the-art production unit in Chhattisgarh for Rs. 1,143 crore. Spread across 1.5 lakh square feet, this plant will produce nearly 10 billion chips by 2030, catering to telecom, 6G/7G technologies, laptops, power electronics and other emerging sectors. The project is generating both direct and indirect employment opportunities for a large number of youth in the state. Polymatech Electronics has released the first list of selected candidates from Chhattisgarh, comprising mainly graduates in engineering and commerce. A total of 12 youth from various districts have been selected. These include Aabhaar Mehunkaar (B.TechEEE) from Durg, Abhishek Kashi (B.TechET) from Bhilai, Naveen Kumar Dewangan (B.TechME) from Balod, Kunal Yadav (BEMechanical) from Raipur, Tushar Devangan (B.TechET) from Bastar, Apoorv Devangan (B.TechET) from Raipur, Dhara Sarpay (B.TechEEE) from Bhilai, Arin Soni (B.TechET) from Raipur, Taru Yadav (B.TechET) from Raigarh, Tushar Kumar Thakur (BEMechanical) from Bhilai, Bhupendra Yadav (B.Com) from Raipur and Abish C. Thomas (M.Com) from Balod. Company officials have informed that the selected youth will be provided with high-level technical training in Chennai. The company will cover the costs of air travel, accommodation, and meals during the training. Following this, the candidates will also receive advanced training at Polymatechs global plants located in Estonia, Singapore and France. By March 2026, the number of selected youth is expected to increase to 200250. The establishment of the semiconductor industry marks a new technological chapter in the states development. In line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision, Chhattisgarh is rapidly emerging in the high-technology sector. Polymatechs decision to select youth from the state and provide them with world-class training in Chennai, as well as at global plants in Estonia, Singapore, and France, is evidence that the potential of our youth is being recognised at the international level.
