Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Joins Navratri Garba Celebrations in Raipur, Calls Festival a Symbol of Enthusiasm, Harmony, and Goodwill

TNINS Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in various Garba Mahotsavs in Raipur on the occasion of 'Sharadiya Navratri'. He offered prayers to Ma Durga and wished for peace, prosperity, and happiness in the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai attended the Garba event organized by Shri Kutch Kadwa Patidar Samaj at Ashirwad Bhavan, Jhankaro 2025 by Shri Gujarati Lohana Mahajan Samaj, Rangeelo Raas 2025 at Indoor Stadium, and Raas Garba Utsav at Omaya Park. He was accorded a traditional welcome with Kutch turban and tilak at each venue. Extending festive greetings, Shri Sai said that Navratri strengthens social harmony, spreads enthusiasm, and inspires goodwill. He highlighted the significance of Chhattisgarhs Shakti Peeths including Maa Danteshwari (Dantewada), Maa Angarmoti and Maa Bilai Mata (Dhamtari), Maa Mahamaya (Sarguja, Ratanpur), and Maa Bamleshwari (Dongargarh), stating that these temples are both centres of faith and pillars of cultural heritage. The Chief Minister noted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modis implementation of GST reforms on the first day of Navratri has accelerated economic activity, simplified trade, and directly benefited consumers. He also stressed that initiatives like the Bachat Utsav are resulting in meaningful savings for citizens. Urging citizens to prioritize indigenous products, Shri Sai said that 'swadeshi' strengthens the national economy, creates local employment opportunities, and is vital to achieving the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The celebrations were attended by Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, MLAs Shri Motilal Sahu, Shri Anuj Sharma, Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Sunil Soni, former MLA Shri Devjibhai Patel, local representatives, Mandal Commission chairpersons, and senior members of Shri Kutch Kadwa Patidar Samaj and Shri Gujarati Lohana Mahajan Samaj, along with a large gathering of citizens.
